Major Arcana I - The High Priestess

In this incarnation, she works as a fortune teller at a carnival. Her corset sort of hurts, but it also sort of relieves her sciatica. Younger women have cast off such cages, have bobbed their hair, but she's not as young as you think, and in certain lights, it shows. She wears a pomegranate between her breasts as a nod to Persephone and maybe to distract from her cross tattoo (a drunken mistake she made with a sailor once; we've all been there) She's got a card pulled for you, but you can't see what it is unless you cross her palm with silver. She sees all and knows all, and it breaks her heart that she can't tell you all of it -- that's for you to figure out.
